My son goes to a school for children with special needs. The give the children individualized attention so the classes are small and there are are only nine children in his class.
Friday was my son's fourth birthday.
For some odd reason they celebrated the birthday of one of the girls in his class Friday (her birthday was not Friday) and scheduled his school party for Monday.
Every time anyone wished him a happy birthday on Friday (and there were quite a few calls) he told them all "No! Taliya!" As I am sure you can guess, Taliya is the girl whose birthday was celebrated on Friday.
We had cupcakes at home and sang to him Friday afternoon, but until his school party on Monday the confusion will continue.
Tomorrow's plan is making snack bags and the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and chocolate that the birthday boy requested.
